Instructions for Installing and Activating Your Tax Software

1. Download and Install Your Software

  1. Click the official download link provided in your order confirmation email or access it from your My Account > Downloads dashboard.
  2. Select the installer for your operating system (Windows .exe or Mac .dmg).
  3. Once downloaded, double-click the setup file to launch the installer and follow the on-screen prompts.

2. Activate Your Product License

  1. Open the installed tax software application.
  2. When prompted, sign in to your Intuit Account (for TurboTax) or H&R Block Account (or create a free account if you do not have one).
  3. Enter the genuine 16-digit or 14-digit Product License Code sent to your email.
  4. Click Activate to complete verification and start preparing your tax returns.
